GMS Hits Slopes at Antelope Butte

Larry Longshore jumps Big Bertha at Antelope Butte on the Caught Being Good field trip.

The ski trip took place in Antelope Butte, on the 29th of March.

This exciting trip was a reward for the 3rd Quarter Caught Being a Good celebration.  Students got to choose whether or not they wanted to go bowling or skiing.

The bus ride over to the mountain was roughly 1 hour and 15 minutes.

The bus ride “was very funny and we did a lot of fun things, but on the downside, the bus ride was very long,” said Cord Edeler.

Skiing was a very fun challenge but a great time.

“I liked skiing with the experienced kids and those who did not know how to ski…but picked it up and learned it by the end of that day,” said Edeler.

The ski trip was great exposure to the slopes because now more people will want to go and ski. It taught many people how to ski.

“I will go out to the slopes more than I’ve learned how to do it,” said Mrs, Bell.
